If you want to build a custom home, I would avoid Korndoerfer. Very poor design/planning and very costly for custom changes. You will not receive reasonable credit for removing items but they will up-charge for every customization. Korndoerfer also uses very cheap materials. We incur problems such as basement leaks multiple times that never occurred at our previous home that was nicely custom built in the same county. Owner takes forever for a callback and is also rude and just makes excuses upon excuses. I don’t normally leave bad reviews (see for yourself on my google account reviews) but I really would not recommend this company.

Korndoerfer built my home and they did an outstanding job. They pay attention to every beautiful detail. They are very easy tow work with and true professionals. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a builder. I moved in last fall and am just as happy today as I was when I got the keys

What an amazing home building experience! Everyone was kind and patient as we began our home building adventure! Nicole was kind and patient and never pressured us, she let us take our time to make decisions and we really appreciated that! Next, to the design studio, Jakki was so knowledgeable and just a wonderful person! She helped us to see areas where we should make some upgrades and really helped us design our home to be exactly our style and not like any one else's, she was also patient and attentive to our needs. She always got back to us via phone and email about our questions throughout the design process, so great! Darrel, our building supervisor, what a guy! So patient and kind as well, especially when we had questions. He gave us weekly updates and was also very attentive to our needs. He treated our home like his own and it showed throughout the construction process! I can't say enough about Korndoerfer Homes, they made the whole process so smooth and we are so happy in our home- we built the Norwood and we both can't wait to come home from work each day to finally sit and relax in our wonderful and cozy home! We are excited to welcome family and friends to share in the joy that our new home brings us, thank you Korndoerfer Homes for making us so happy with our decision to build with your company!

This is the second time we have built with Korndoerfer and could not be happier with the results. From start to finish communication was absolutely outstanding and the workmanship is second to none. Every question was answered within HOURS and any concern was addressed immediately. Coming up on our one year warranty check and have only 2 very minor fixes to be made and they are already scheduled to be taken care of. We've built with 2 other builders and Korndoerfer is by far superior to all the others. Highly recommend them...you won't be disappointed.
