When it comes to starting a business - I was clueless. I had this GREAT idea (well about a hundred of them all bouncing around and competing for attention in my brain), and I just KNEW that now was the time to put the wheels in motion, and share these ideas with the world. I was smart enough to realize that I couldn't do it all on my own, and so I decided that I needed a company that could help me market the idea, and help create flyers and such for me. I had no idea where to begin, and so I did what any self respecting 30 something would do. I googled it. I must have sent out a dozen emails, but hadn't felt "connected with any of the places I had contacted. Until I saw the listing for Krative. Their website was fantastic, and they just "felt" like "my people" so I sent an email asking for some information. Within just a few minutes I had a response, and within thirty minutes we had already spoken, and set up an appointment. Their response time was amazing, their phone demeanor was warm and inviting and I instantly felt hopeful. I'll spare you the long drawn out details (because trust me. I can be verbose) but I left after that first meeting with so much more than I had even imagined. I had wanted a company to help me make some "pretty" stuff, but what I left with, was a team behind me. Rick, Samantha, and now Eric, have constantly impressed me with their attention to detail, creativity, professionalism, integrity, compassion, and their not only willingness to help me, but their excitement to help me grow my business. Yes, they make me "pretty" things, but they built me an entire brand. They listened to my ideas and helped me to put them into focus. They asked the tough questions to help me be aware of what I REALLY wanted out of the marketing. Together we identified my target demographic, the core values of the company, and what I hoped to accomplish. It started with a logo and a style guide, and morphed into brochures, letterhead, business cards, email signatures, and a website (or two...). They helped me decide on the best items to purchase for a trade show and have always been conscious and respectful of my budget. I know I can be a challenge to work with since I tend to have grandiose visions and ideas, but their constant presence and reassurance has helped keep me on track. I contacted Krative because I wanted someone to help me with creating flyers and brochures. What I found was a team of people who I respect professionally and care for personally, and who have helped turn me into a better business owner. I not only recommend Krative to anyone, but I will absolutely always have them as my team for as long as I am in business. Our firm, Odyssey Advisors, engaged Krative in early 2013 for a rebranding project which included a name change, logo, client surveys, rebranding, website, stationary and more. With that information, we were able to rebrand under the Odyssey Advisors name and come up with a logo that supported it.
