UPDATE: 12/8/2017: Well after several attempts we were finally able to contact Sam, he explained that he had to go out of town unexpectedly, and had forgotten to contact us. We did meet last night and did get a laptop. Not the one we initially purchased, as Sam gave us a free upgrade for our troubles. Certainly not the best online transaction I've ever been a part of, but at the end of the day we got what we are looking for. 3 stars because of the running around.12/5/2017: I recently purchased a used/refurbished laptop from Sam Lorenz from a post he had made on Facebook marketplace. It was a Dell E6510 Inspiron. We had asked Sam to install windows 7 on the laptop instead of windows 10. He agreed that it would not be a problem. After meeting Sam and looking over the laptop it appeared everything was in working condition so we made the deal. Upon getting the computer home I discovered that the Wi-Fi adapter was not being recognized. I texted Sam and he quickly responded and said it probably just needs to run the updates and that it would be fine. I was able to connect to the Internet using the ethernet cable and run the necessary updates. Unfortunately that did not fix the problem. The following day when we told Sam of the issue he agreed that he needed to get the laptop back in order to do the repairs necessary. My wife met Sam in the Jackson high school parking lot to give him the laptop so he could make the adjustments. He was supposed to have the laptop back to my wife on Saturday afternoon as he said it would only take an hour or so to fix.Late Saturday we still hadn’t heard from Sam when we did finally contact him he said he was having a few issues that he needed to get buttoned up and that he could have it ready for us in the morning. We told him we would be at church and then we be happy to meet him in the parking lot Sunday morning came and went and once again Sam did not show. We contacted Sam again and he agreed that it was a mistake and that he would meet her there at evening time to get her the laptop. At this point he started to talk about getting us a different laptop that was much better than the one we had bought for our troubles. Sunday evening came and went and, big surprise, nothing from Sam. My wife tried to contact him all day on Monday and finally he answered the phone and acted as if we were aware that he was not coming To meet on Sunday evening. he claims that he sent several messages.... of course at this point in time we have a little reason to believe him. Nonetheless he agreed that he would be willing to meet Tuesday evening in the Sam’s club parking lot down by Belden Village. That was supposed to be at 7 PM it is now 7:33 PM and Sam has still not shown, he has not called, he has made no attempt to contact us whatsoever. We are now leaving Sam’s Club and are on our on our way to the Canton police department to file a police report. I will update this review as this unfolds. It seems that this once fine business has taken a turn for the worse. Buyer Beware.
