After seeing some of Nelis' work online and meeting him at his studio we were so excited to book him and his company as we felt like we'd really hit the wedding jackpot. His studio was amazing, his work was exactly what we were looking for and he seemed really professional. On our actual wedding day itself he and his team appeared extremely organised and professional. We even paid them an extra hour as we were running behind on our schedule and wanted to make sure we got the bouquet and garter toss on film. Unfortunately our experiences with Nelis and his team have been far from the dream we had hoped for and have had nothing but disappointment and head aches since our wedding day. We got married in March 2018 and are yet to receive the 30 minute edited highlights clip. We have never seen footage of the garter and bouquet toss that we paid the extra hour for. Our extended highlights clip is exactly the same as our cinema trailer clip just with our first dance added on the end and the song changed. As many of our close friends and family from over seas couldn't make it to our wedding the 30 minute highlight clip was a selling point for us so they could watch all the best bits but not sit through hours of ceremony and speeches etc. The overall quality of our video is not what we had previously seen. We also had to wait over 6 months for the first disappointing edits of our footage. We are so disappointed and if we could rewind the clocks we would chose a different company completely to film our special day. Do not be fooled by the professional facade that is portrayed and think twice before booking Nelis and his team at light lounge studios.
