Very professional staff, efficient, very organized and clean test taking facility. Only problem it takes time to receive the certificate after you pass the test. They'll give you a paper temporary certificate thought...

I was very optimistic about taking the free online course because I can't take off a week from work to take it in person. My hopes were dashed after I finished taking the first part of the course because when I tried to take the quiz for the first section i was immediately logged-off. When I tried to log back in, it said "invalid user name or password" so I answered the security questions and waited for an e-mail and waited and...nothing. Several attempts and nothing. So I register again, this time using a different phone number (the ID they give you is the last four digits of your phone number) and this time I take 15 minutes in the first section and when I try to take the Quiz for that part...lo and behold I'm logged-off AGAIN! I try to log back in and NOTHING happens so I answer the security questions and wait for a reply so I can reset my ID/password and again nothing, no e-mail. I tried calling the Health Academy to see if they can fix this and get shuffled around to four different people and end up getting recordings. FRUSTRATING to say the least! It seems like the "free" online course is just bait to get you interested and hope that you give up trying the website and have to take the course in person for $114. The money isn't the issue for me , its just that I can't take a week off from work to take the course in person. I really need this certificate to advance my career but it looks like I'm going to have to wait several months for my vacation time to accumulate before I can take off.

Everything good about staff there, very nice and respectful,except for the online course it's frustrating it took me 2 weeks . it keeps logging out . My advice is to take the one week class it will be less stressful good luck .

went here to take the test for food protection certificate .well beside the security who asked to stay and wait outside in the rain ,everything was super .very nice teachers ,pleasant and professional approach .so I passed the test even if I did not had the chance to study for it .they explain everything before the exam in 30 min so you could reach your maximum point .

The staff is fine, this is a review of the Health Academy's website.- The website is archaic, anyone can tell you that the site has not been updated for years.- If you don't spend a minimum of fifteen minutes for each lesson, the site will state you have not spent a sufficient amount of time reading through the lesson( even if the lesson consists of four or five paragraphs) and will force you to wait until your fifteen minutes is up .- The whole purpose of taking the online course is for people who do not have the time to schedule a five day course, each consisting of three hours. THE ONLINE SYSTEM IS EXTREMELY INEFFICIENT!- Another HUGE PROBLEM while taking the online course is that it will automatically log you out at any given time - without notifying you, which you will then have to go through the lesson and spend another fifteen minutes before you are permitted to take the course.NOTE: I do not have any other windows or tabs open during the time of each lesson, nor do I have a slow internet speed. I've brought this to the attention of the staff who work at the desk on the second floor and like your typical city worker, he or she will keep giving you excuses or make it seem like the problem is entirely your fault until they run out of answers and look you straight in the eye with a glazed look, which by then you're only option is to shake your head while leaving you with the common feeling that this city is fast to make policies but sloppy at executing them.
