Our family recently booked a vacation with long and foster. We booked in January with Chris McGurk who spent a considerable amount of time making sure we found the write property for us. A beautiful 5 bedroom home on the beach. Within days we found out that a family member could not be there as he was just scheduled to be in California for business. As you could guess we were disappointed. I called Chris and explained what happened and he came to our rescue. He called the owner on our behalf and was able to cancel the lease. He then went to work finding a vacation rental for the week everyone could make it which was busiest week of the year.Although there was not much available, Chris did find a home on the beach for us to spend our week. It may not be the place we first chose but we will be spending it together. Thanks again for your understanding and work to resolve this change is schedule.

We rented from the website without looking at the house. NEVER do that with this realtor. The Realtor let us in a little early because we had food to put in the fridge which was very kind and we were leaving another place. The cleaning people were just leaving but it was DISGUSTING. They said they had spent an hour there. (I'm not sure if it was worse or that wasn't true.) Either way, food was left, our feet stuck to the floor, just completely dirty. Trash wasn't taken. Use your imagination. Immediately we called the realtor who was very kind and said that the cleaning people would come back. My daughter said, "What will they do now that they couldn't do in an hour?" . The realtor said, "You're right" Let me get back to you. Long story, short they talked to owner and we were promised the cleaning fee back of $107.00 if we cleaned it ourselves which did. Halfway thru the week the owner called and said something like we will see??? At that point Long and Foster didn't have our back. The whole point of this rating is that there is no protection for the renter with this realtor. If you rent with them do not ever rent sight unseen and if you get a place that is disgusting immediately go to them and turn in your key and get your money back the first day while you have some bargaining power. Needless to say we never saw the $107.00 and when we turned the key in never saw our agent.
