I have called the St Charles postmaster many times before and nothing changes... Myself and all my neighbors deal with these type of issues allot. Mail continually gets delivered to the wrong house address. (Ok I understand this can happen)... but how about delivery items from like Amazon getting smashed up and jammed into your mailbox instead of being delivered to the front door of your house... I have had to cuts items out of my mailbox and also submit damage item delivery requests. Here is the icing on the cake... OK yesterday is was raining out, but I pick up my mail and I find a pink slip in my mailbox saying that my Amazon package had a missed delivery (1st attempt) because my "Receptacle was full or package was over-sized" So I guess if its raining out and a package does not fit in your mailbox they do not have to deliver it to the front door of your house?

Let's just say I now see why the Post Office has had over a decade of financial loss. From getting no mail all week to my mailbox stuffed on Saturdays for 4 yrs straight (Sheila was the worst!) to receiving neighbors mail over and over again, to having our mailbox lid open for our mail to get soaked, to the office staff (rachel) being unable to hold or forward my mail for two months now. 6 calls and two visits to no avail. I am so glad I moved out of this town!

I use this post office every few days, year round. The employees are always very pleasant and efficient. I have witnessed other customers being incredibly rude, especially during the busy holidays, and the employees always respond with grace, courtesy, and respect. Five stars always!
