I interviewed for a job here some years back and it was the worst experience ever which leads me to believe they are very unprofessional. I had a 10 am interview and arrived a little earlier (about 9:40 am) the woman who had the 9 am appointment was late. Rather than interview me they made me wait. She arrived at 10:15 am. So she was over an hour late and I had been early and I was dressed in a suit, and was very professional and had the right credentials. They spent over an hour interviewing her and at about 11:40 am took her back to the lobby and offered her the job in front of me. The two woman doing the interview than said to each other, "Well I guess we might as well interview this one real quick and then go to lunch?" They acted as if though I was an inconvenience. After waiting for almost two hours and being polite about it. I was taken to a room and the two woman quickly figured out what they wanted for lunch. One woman left not even five minutes into interviewing me after telling her co worker "I'll go ahead and order our lunch." They were both very condescending and rude. They made a comment about how they really needed someone who knew MS Excel and word when I told them I had taken training course for MS office suite....ummm that includes Excel and word? Needless to say the "interview" if you can call it that only lasted about 15 minutes and even though they did their standard "we will let you know either way" of course they didn't respond to my thank you emails. On my way out I saw the HR manager (who I must say was a lovely woman and I wish she had been the one to interview me). She asked me how it went and I told her it was a little rushed and she smiled and told me they were doing lots of interviews and they were going to be doing second ones. I told her what had happened with the other candidate being offered the job right in front of me (at that point I didn't even want t work there) and how the two ladies interviewing me had acted like I was a bother. She seemed very appalled at this as she had come to the lobby while training the receptionist while I was waiting and commented that she wished all candidates who were polite enough to wait for over an hour would be so professional. But seriously, if that is how they hire people, I doubt they do good business.
