Sounds like Tom H is an "elitist" and petty since it appears he has not have worked for other than high end image companies. I will retire from USA next year after 11 years. While you "earn" your vacation time with seniority; sensible generous rules are implied i.e. non-family managers and employees with emergencies like extended illnesses receiving pay and flood victims within the company not penalized while taking time to put their homes back together. Seems like over 50% of company is family isn't true. Its a hand full of family with almost 100 employees. They are not treated any different than other employees.ALL HEALTH PLANS ARE EXPENSIVE. I have compared USA plan with other friend's plans. Some are a little better and a lot more are worse. USA Industries' business is DEMAND driven. Of course we work after hours and weekends; We support a 24/7 service energy operations market and employees are paid commiserate overtime. I guess we ARE in the middle of no-where, which is actually in the Hobby Airport area ;15 minutes south from the center of downtown; I wonder if this is a millennial who has a false sense of culture entitlement and simply does not like the local diverse fare of Kelley's, Pappas BBQ, Pappas seafood, Greek restaurants, and numerous Mexican restaurants which are within 3- 8 minutes from USA Industries.Oh yes; it really is unsafe here; gates are closed at dark, the facilities are lit up with powerful LED lights that illuminate the entire facility AND adjacent buildings. Additionally, USA Industries has security systems for preventing false entries and massive video surveillance systems of all its facilities interiors and exteriors. No problems in the last 10 years... I guess you would have to have stayed late at night or weekends to know this...
