This place is a TOTAL SCAM. They will take your memories and keep them forever. You will NEVER get them back. I mailed vhs tapes back in march of my grandfather that passed away 29 years ago, trying to get them on dvd and they STOLE THEM AND MY MONEY. I do not even care about the money. I just want my memories back. I have tried contacting them and they never get back to you, they ignore you. I do not even believe this is a real company. SCAM!!!!!!!

Buyer beware-Groupon is not helping customers to get their DVDs or their originals back. I submitted my originals to Memories on Media using a Groupon voucher in March 2019 and it is now September 2019 and I have received nothing but excuses from Groupon. I am sick about this loss! I have filed a complaint with the NC Attorney General and if you have suffered a loss from this company I would recommend you do the same. Memories on Media’s phone is constantly busy and online inquiries go unanswered. Groupon has repeatedly asked me to be patient and has only offered a credit for the cost I paid. They have either not tried or are unable to get in touch with this company and believe that simply giving you a credit (without returning your tapes) is a solution. I will NEVER purchase from Groupon again! Please please please be careful with your memories!

Oh no! I followed all the instructions in the Groupon and sent my videos in two months ago. I’ve been trying to get through and only receive a busy signal. I just saw all these reviews and hope I’ve not lost these videos forever. They are of my dad who passed away and I wanted to make sure I converted them so my children are able to know who he was. I will be devastated if these are lost forever. They are all I have of him in video format.

omg this is tragic. i've been trying to get hold of these people and there is no answer, and their 'parent company' website doesn't exist. are you kidding? What can we DO???? I desperately want these videos back!!!

We send in our VHS tapes 4/12/19 and have not received anything back yet. I cannot get through to the company to ask about them. i wish we had read reviews on this company before we send in our tapes becasue I am worried that they are out of business. Shame on you Groupon for representing this company and for not pulling them off your site.

Sent them my video tapes 9 months ago. This was from a Groupon deal and apparently the entire company is a SCAM. I feel Groupon is also liable here as they helped facilitate the scam. Both Memories On Media and Groupon should be investigated for the fraud committed here. I plan to contact the state attorney general about the situation.

So Disappointing!!! I sent in 10 family videos in December 2018. I patiently waited for 6 month and now trying to reach out by phone and email and can't get a response. So many pictures of my kids when they were little!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOU BUSINESS HERE. I contacted Better Business Bureau and they couldn't get in contact with them either. I'm states away and can't drive over there to talk with them. I don't even care about the money, I just want my family videos back.

Did a great job on 1700 slides and a handful of vhs tapes. Very Good quality scans on slides that are from the 1950s and 60s.

Worst company in the world. They lost the videos my mom sent in (over 20 of them). They were videos of my childhood which were very precious as my father died when I was 2 so these are the only memories I have of him. When my mom sent the videos she called to confirm and no emails were ever sent to her or details you could pay more money to have them tracked or backed up (which if we are paying for the service anyway they should be protected!!). Over a month later she called to check and they said the videos were sent out a few weeks ago and should arrive shortly. Weeks later still nothing so my mom calls again (mind you no emails were ever sent to her) and they were rude saying They had never lost a package before and it would turn up. They sent the originals and the converted dvds back together (which is beyond stupid! Apparently an email is typically sent giving you the option to pay more money to have them sent separate-total scam!!! No emails were ever received. Over the next few months my mom checked in periodically with the post office and the company. The post office has been working with us to find them and the company was absolutely rude. They said it wasn't their problem and we could have paid more money to avoid this. When I called 6 months after the shipment date the employees, manager, and owner were extremely rude. They all yelled at me saying I wasn't their problem and to call the post office and there was nothing they could do. They had no sympathy or anything! The owner proceeded to hang up on me when I was trying to explain that it is their problem and we paid them and they did not deliver. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!! My memories are lost forever and they don't even care.

I sent several VHS tapes to be copied to DVDs. Robert, who answered the phone when I called on 5/6/19 confirmed the tapes were received on 1/4/19. He told me they’d be done and I would receive my order and original tapes in 3-4 weeks. They have now had my tapes for 9 months. Numbers are out of order. Complaint filed with Better Business Bureau. Groupon has been no help. Do not do business with this company.
