Client Review on Maggie Valley Cabin Rentals

The photos are not current, the area is a disaster! Everything is very junky and in need of remodeling/updating. Thank goodness I visited the place before my wedding night because we would have been very disappointed. I was not able to contact the owner on the property or by phone on any of the 3 days I was there. When I finally reached her, she was more interested in keeping the $25 deposit then caring about my concerns for her false advertisment. With each one of my complaints, she used the "it is the off season" excuse...to which I replied, every single other cabin rental I visited had an owner on the property and most of them were in the yard working to get ready for the season. And by the way, any business that was closed for the off season had a re-opening sign of April 4th or 11th...I was there through April 2nd. I highly recommend Country Cabins and Mountain Joy Cottages for a more private getaway, and also recommend Smokey View Cabins for a group or more casual vacation. All three owners were friendly and helpful.
