My experience with Designli was tremendous and very insightful. Before the Solution Lab, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I realized how truly impactful it was as soon as we got to work. Not only was it extremely crucial to be on the same page, butDesignli delivered great solution lab results that explained when, how and what was being built in a simplified way most people can understand.With the help of Designli’s creativity and experience, I walked out of our lab very confidently with a clear picture of what I was building!Open, honest, encouraging and trustworthy communication!!! Our experience with Designli has been extremely positive. Keith, Josh, and the team are professional, diligent, and transparent with the process for creating an app, from inception through development. As our knowledge in the tech world is limited, Designli’s SolutionLab is the perfect ‘first step’ we never knew we needed. In this process, we found ourselves hashing out key components and essential concepts, ultimately designing the building blocks for our vision. During each call and webinar, ideas were shared and fine-tuned. The end result of the SolutionLab is a solid business plan, user flow diagram, and user personas / stories. We are truly grateful for the Designli team and excited for the next steps of building a prototype.

At the onset when I began conceptualizing my startup company I knew one of the largest variables to success would be a great looking, user friendly, scalable and robust website. To that end I began interviewing design companies in the upstate SC area. After all was said and done one group stood out among the others…DesignLi. Ok, they weren’t the largest or most tenured company in Greenville, but as an innovator, and hopeful entrepreneur, I gravitated towards their personal approach to the design process. I liked the fact that these tech guys didn’t approach my project as simply code, 1’s and 0’s. They spent a great deal of time up front getting to know me and learning about my life experiences. After all, my life experiences are what led me to starting my own business. Every step of the design process from concept to development was smooth and efficient. The weekly updates and regular milestone reports made keeping up with progress a breeze, even for a non-tech person like me. Working with DesignLi has been a truly collaborative process and my initial product offering will be even better for it. I look forward to working with Josh and Keith well into the future.

When starting my business, I wanted to jump directly into design and implementation as I thought I already had a solid idea to work with. I am so glad that I decided to first go through Designli's solution lab. Designli's structured and comprehensive process really helped me to think through how the product would really work, and we thoroughly explored the user experience and likely edge cases and exceptions. This definitely saved me from some rewrites further down the line. The UX document and screen flow, now lay out a blueprint for the next stage in the process and I feel confident that we have laid a solid foundation to build upon. Very impressed.

Going through the Solutions Lab process was the best decision our team made during the ideation and design phase with a new product launch. This was a unique service that Designli offered and, after talking to the Designli team, we decided to engage them to help our team crystallize our thoughts and ideas into an executable plan of action. Keith and Josh did a fantastic job of moderating the discussion, keeping everyone on track and the end result was exactly what we hoped it would be!

First let me say that I’m a tech novice and that’s a kind self assessment - I know what apps are, use them daily but had no clue how many steps would be needed to create one or even how to begin. I had an idea but no knowledge how to make it something real. When I met with Josh and Keith at Designli I knew right away they were the ones to guide me through this project. Their unique “path” to a finished app is certainly a process I could understand and appreciate as a first time entrepreneur - one with zero experience in this space.The very first step - Solution Lab - was the best one though I will admit that I questioned the need for this upfront. I wanted to begin building right away from the “blueprint” in my brain - get started, save money.By far the best money I’ve spent so far; taking the time to walk through the concept, how I wanted the app to look and function gave us direction and let me know if what I wanted to do could even be done. Problems were solved that I didn’t even know were going to be problems, money was saved as different and more cost effective ways to build a feature were vetted. The idea became reality and we all could “see” what it would/could be versus what we hoped it might be. Defining user types and personas helped me understand how different users will interact with our app and design features in a way that benefits those users. This process allowed me to look at the app through the ultimate user’s eyes, not just mine.Keith and Josh will not move to the next step unless you’re pleased with the step you’re on now. Solutions Lab is absolutely necessary to the process - you wouldn’t build a house without blueprints, why would you build an app without a detailed set of plans?”

Cannot give a high enough recommendation for Designli. Many development companies don't value the consulting and 'framing up' of a project as much as they should before plunging into full app development. The SolutionLab did a fantastic job aligning expectations for my project: ensuring every team member was on the same page, and laying the foundation for a successful overall execution of the project before having to commit to the full price-tag of developing a feature-rich app. The ability for the Designli team to communicate clearly, with language devoid of developer jargon was a key element throughout the process. The SolutionLab experience gave me complete confidence that not only did the team understand the technical challenges of my product, they were committed to its success and understood my app at least as well as I did.
