Hamburg resident. I'll start by saying I basically pay $30/month for this service. It's not overly expensive but it's not exactly cheap either just to get rid of your garbage. Occasionally I will have 1-2 black garbage bags next to the tote full of lawn clippings or things that couldn't fit in the tote. Sometimes they pick it up, sometimes the guys just leave the bags on my lawn. So now that we are moving in a few weeks and NEED to get rid of things, I really need this stuff to be picked up. Today my tote was picked up but my bags were not, so I called and asked if there is a schedule that I am unaware of for bigger stuff to be picked up. I was told anything that is not in the tote is $4.50 and you must call ahead of time to make the arrangements. $4.50 PER BAG after paying $30 per month? My neighbors that use Waste Management put out a TON of garbage every week and never have any issues. Not using Modern at our next house.

the worst customer services .for the last 5 weeks they only pick up 2 of the cans. then one week they pick up 3 they never take all the garbage. was told if i want it all picked up i need to pay them. i pay depew taxes that cover this and they still refuse to get back with me to correct this when i call they refuse to let me speak to a supervisor .i will be in contact with depew ny to see what can be done to get new services . i have to give 1 star to post this should be 0 i want to speak with corporate but they refuse to give me number

I put out 2 mattresses and box spring's out at my parents house 4 weeks ago and they haven't picked it up yet. I called customer service and was told I was over the limit that I was only able to put one out at a time and was assured it would be picked up the following week and it still sits there. My brother contacted them and was told they had to be wrapped in plastic 2 weeks ago then they would be picked so we did that and waited till the next pick up as they still sit there then sent an email and talked to supervisor and was told that a special truck would pick them up today and its now 6:45 in the evening and they are still sitting buy the road.

Collectors CONSTANTLY leave garbae in alley. Clear Bags/bundled branches and twigs-Sometimes they completely skip houses. Took video to prove it.

This is a terrible garbage service....My town has been using this company for garbage pick up for the 7 years ive lived in Waterport NY , I have never had an issue till this year....called to complain but they just dont care....have now had 3 broken garbage cans because the guy just throws them iether into the truck or into my yard and always(this year) leaves garbage strewn across my yard that I have to go out and pick up because he usually breaks open a bag or two while throwing my cans around and today, they broke my yard reflecting stakes I just put in when they threw the garbage can...ridiculus...and they also drive in reverse very fast around my Nieghbor hood ...no reason for it...and not this time but many times in the past they have driven right through my yard for whatever reason , the last time taking out my septic line thats close to the road, even though I put in large rocks which they drove right over...This is the last time Modern Disposal....I have photo and video evidence that I will be sending to the media come next week...if this does not change...and also a bill for my three trash cans and septic repair...maybe then we will change our ways...there is no accountability and pride anymore all is lost....

Nothing like watching the garbage men throw garbage cans like they cost nothing! I have called 2 times about this problem and nothing happens. How about they pay for our cans!

Update: if you ever get hit by one of their trucks make sure you call The New York State Troopers instead of locals. After waiting for the final police report to come out... 17 days after the accident the blame has been Shifted to my wife now. The report was done, but sent back to be revised.I guess it pays to be a large employer in Niagara County rather than a single tax payer. A Modern Disposal semi ripped the front of my wife’s car off after turning in to a Tim Hortons in Wright’s Corners and cutting it too close. She was was waiting to exit on to 104. She was stopped with someone behind her and could not back up. The driver was great, but their insurance company is blowing my wife off about a loaner car so she can get to work on Monday. What ever you do...don’t get hit by these folks and have to deal with their insurance company. National Interstate Insurance Company. It’s when there’s problems that you really find out what a company is made of. Not happy with either business right now!

Just called because truck always comes at 8:30 am in the 7 years I have lived here. I had my trash out by 8:15 am. I was basically told too bad for you. Customer service was not at all accommodating or sympathetic. I was told they would take it if I brought it there for a fee! Nice! Not! So make sure your trash is out by 6 am or they might not pick it up.
