I cannot say enough about our amazing experience with Nicole and Moving Memories as our wedding videographer. We were on the fence throughout the entire wedding planning process about hiring a videographer— we really wanted to, but like so many couples, we had a budget we were trying to stick to and we knew something would have to give even if it wasn’t what we wanted. We knew our photographer was incredible and talented, but there was something about the raw, natural video side of things we really wanted also to preserve the day forever! In the back of my mind the whole time, I did not want to regret a thing, and it was bothering me that we wouldn’t be able to capture the day in real time. If this is you, I promise you will not regret tweaking your budget to add a videographer— it was one of the best decisions we made!About a month or so before the wedding, it became obvious to us that our grandparents would not be able to attend due to health concerns, and our hearts were broken. Not just because we would miss them all day, but we knew how much it meant to them, and to us, for them to be able to experience our special day and hear the vows we wrote to each other in the moment! I knew the best solution we had was to find a videographer to capture all of that for us. We searched in the area, and were beyond lucky to find Nicole and Moving Memories in the process. We loved the examples of her work, her message, and we really love to support a small business (all of our wedding vendors were small business owners/self employed). Incredibly enough, she had availability on our wedding day! The first time I met Nicole was the day of our wedding amidst the hair and make up preparations. Instantly, it was like she was part of the crew and we had been friends much longer than those 30 seconds! She made us all so comfortable, even with a camera between us, and had us laughing immediately! I loved watching her and our photographer share their ideas and watch their creativity and talent merge and grow together! She was a step ahead of us and had such great ideas and vision! Every second of our ceremony was captured perfectly from several angles, and yet I don’t remember even seeing her move once throughout the ceremony! She was so sweet and surprised us with some seriously adorable footage of our puppy during the ceremony (he was there watching and she caught some great footage of him)! She figured out, even without us telling her, what was so important and dear to us. Between the footage of our dog, Captain, catching our reactions to the speeches and my mom’s reaction to her special song with me, close ups of the photo, cross and medal I carried on the bouquet of/from my grandparents, a gorgeous sunset, us laughing and dancing like crazy people in our element on the dance floor, and so much more, she surpassed our expectations! She was up for anything and created the most perfect, beautiful trailer and full length film of our wedding day! She captured our favorite memories, and even some special moments we missed in the craziness of the day, and we are forever grateful for her! We cannot thank or recommend her enough! It felt like she was our friend, not only in how she made us, and our friends and family, feel on our wedding day, but in the way she so carefully and loving captured our love and happiness and turned it all into such an amazing film that we will cherish forever!
