This publication has always been very supportive of its local art scene, for example: The Newport Center for The Visual Arts, at the Nye beach turnaround.Their coverage has helped to serve the community through announcements of educational programs and exhibits that have been brought to the community by the OCCA.Mimi Cernyar Fox, my spouse is exhibiting her work: Wings Over The Sea, for the month's of October and November 2016 at the Visual Arts Center in the Runyan Gallery on the main floor. They continue to cover the performing arts as well. All journalist have to start somewhere. Newport is a small fishing community / town.
