The studios illustrative style and elegant, often clever, design solutions soon gained both regional and national acclaim, bringing the opportunity to develop classic brands for clients as diverse as Haggar Apparel, Mary Kay Cosmetics and The American Heart Association.

The firms work continued to gain notoriety and attracted the attention of such well-known brands as Neiman-Marcus, Milton-Bradley, Farah/Savane and Lincoln Hotelsbrands whose success has depended upon their image and shared connection with their customers. In 1994, Rex founded Studio | Peteet Design (formerly Sibley/Peteet Design, Austin, the company's second office), to better serve the regions expanding market as well as the firms growing client base.
