My wife and I went looking for a generator for our home. We reviewed the big box stores and a few generator dealers. We chose Power Outage Services Company because of their professional presentation during our interview process and their extensive product and installation knowledge. We were very pleased with the installation and the attention to detail. We have continued our relationship with Power Outage Services Company by signing up for an annual maintenance plan with them. We are very happy with the service and attention we receive from Power Outage Services Company.

Had the pleasure of dealing with this company after my service provider went bankrupt. They were very profesional and did a great job with my generator! Highly recommend!

This company is cryptic and rude. They are not knowledgeable, try to upsell, seem to be out for a quick buck. Trying to speak to anyone local is impossible, meaning they don't stand behind their service contracts at all - no support. Not happy with my experience with them. There are plenty of others - recommend avoiding this company.

We installed a generator about six years ago--sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. After several failures to start and subsequent service, it became obvious that the guy from whom I purchased it didn't know how to fix it. I switched to a local electrical firm that advertised regular services to keep generators in good shape. I worked with this guy for two years and he regularly "serviced" the machine but again, whenever we lost power I kept my fingers crossed as to whether the generator would come on or not--it was 50-50. NOT OK!! Then I saw the ad for PowerOutage Services Company. They identified the problem, fixed it, and since then--more than two years ago, my generator has been 100% reliable. They have also installed an electronic monitoring system so if we lose power and the generator doesn't work, they get that signal and they automatically come over. Fortunately the generator has worked every time so we haven't been visited--except for once on a Saturday morning when we unplugged the device to do a repair on our basement freezer and "ding dong"--a few minutes later the doorbell rings and its the owner of PowerOutage with his daughter come over to make sure we are OK. Wow--that's what I call service. I highly recommend this firm.
