We stayed in a beach front condo Fmi rentals at the marina picante two years ago and it was absolutely stunning with the ocean views and spacious rooms/ well kept/ wooden angel carvings. We had plenty of rooms and bathrooms/ awesome beach access/ grill and kitchen appliances and utensils for cooking at the house/ laundry. It was adjacent/ short walk from salt water pool and hot tub/ atm/ stores. I forgot my make up case from the bathroom and they shipped it to us in Scottsdale Az!!:)) super honest awesome

We rented from FMI Rentals during Fall Break of 2017 in Las Conchas and had an ok experience. The WiFi was slow but one of the bedroom doors got locked and we called and someone came right out and took care of it. That’s the one star. Come back this weekend on 4/27-4/29 and rented on Mirador Beach at Las Palmas and this place needs a lot more work and TLC. WiFi doesn’t work, broken tiles in the baths, showers and kitchen as well as the outside balcony. Master shower doesn’t hardly spray at all and the shower drain doesn’t flow. The bigger issue was the renters downstairs also through FMI Rentals started setting up a huge birthday party on Saturday night. I checked with the property manager to ask them about loud music and parties and they told me that after 10 pm is quiet time. We learned that they were having a 50th birthday party and wanted them to have a good time. We had our 3 youngest children with us - so at 10:45 pm I went downstairs in the back on the beach and spoke to one of the people there. I asked him kindly since it was well after 10 pm if they could stop playing the music and that our children are trying to sleep. By the way, it was a live band! Tuba, drums, trumpet the whole gig! He said ok. I went back upstairs and laid back down in bed and then a few minutes later the band starts playing - inside the condo now instead of outside. I called the FMI Emergency line and spoke to a nice guy and told him what was going on and he said they would send somebody and he would call them to tell them no more music or party after 10 pm. Now after 11 pm and still lots of music and now fireworks so I call again. He tells me someone is on the way there to speak to the renters downstairs. Also the number of people far exceeded the capacity for that rental but it’s a party so we understood. Another 15 minutes go by and nothing so I call the Emergency line again and now I am told that his manager and the police are on their way. Great! Now we are getting somewhere. More than 20 minutes go by and we are nearing midnight and nothing so I call the Emergency line again and the gentleman that I was speaking to does not answer!!! I leave a message - I think. It’s all in Spanish. I keep trying to call and he won’t answer at all. I call from a different phone and still no answer. I even sent text messages and used Google translate to send them in both English & Spanish. I end up calling the police myself and they finally show up but they drive past the condo to the desert, circle back around and drive partially to the condo stop and pull over. They don’t get out so I walk down to them and there are three cops in the car and they are just sitting there eating food. I asked if they speak English and they do and I tell them what’s going on and they say they don’t hear the music. I told them they would need to get out of the car and go around in the back (the condos are more than 100 feet deep from the garage to the back of the condo and they are two stories tall) - at this point the live band had just left about 5 minutes prior to them coming but my lovely neighbors had a huge Bluetooth speaker in the back blaring music. So they say they’ll check it out and go park and walk around back and speak to the neighbors. Music stops! Police come and speak to me after and as I’m outside the whole family and others come out and they are all speaking Spanish. I have no idea what’s going on and then one of them that does speak English starts telling me how I ruined their party. She says I need to go back to the US. This is Mexico! The cops are uninterested at this point and begin to leave so I follow them out to the car and ask them what’s going on and they said that there will be no more music. I explain more about the speaker and then the cop says to me - “no ingles.” What?!!!! We just had two conversations and you understood me fine and now you don’t speak English! I tried calling the Emergency line again for the property manager and still will not answer my calls and now it is after 2 am - 3 1/2 hours and FMI is NO HELP!

We have rented from FMI Rentals a few times previously. Last week we stayed at Casa Amarilla, The property needs a lot of upgrading. Half of the window blinds were missing form the glass patio doors facing the front of the house, two burners on the stove were not working, one of the showers the drain was not working, The couch was missing one of the legs. The maintenance crew were very nice and helpful fixing what they could fix but the property owners need to upgrade the place if they want to keep renting it at the rate they rent it for. Casa Amarilla was a big disappointment.
