Rugged Coastal is a brand-centric, independently owned, creative studio with offices in Portland, ME and Boston, MA.

Through research and strategy we establish creative direction and with intelligent, engaging design we bring visual messaging to life. We work with clients on both a local and national scale on everything from brand development to website/app design to product design and sourcing. We are a team of graphic designers, developers and producers who all share a love for good clean design.

Whether we're crafting a logotype, coding a new website, or assembling a line list for apparel production we consistently sweat the details. Our team is highly collaborative and believes strongly in the research process as a way of bypassing subjectivity. When everyone is on the same page, and believes in the work they are doing, great things happen.
