Our very first experience with Screen Tek, Inc has been terrible from the very beginning. It's unfortunate as this company was at our Chamber of Commerce event at our store and I was in the process of sourcing out a printer for a fairly large job so the timing was perfect. We do a lot of printing throughout the year and teaming with a great local printer was a priority of mine.Steven was very attentive at first but that soon changed once the job began and we committed to it.Initially, I was trying to get this job done quickly but I understood that EVERY customer wants their product now so I wasn't upset when the original deadline couldn't be met. In their defence, it was only a week to produce so I was totally fine...The first proof came Feb 27, 2019. I was so disappointed how basic they were. There was zero "graphic abilities" in these and anyone with this program to design these banners could've produced what I saw. Regardless, I went ahead with them after a number of revisions as timing was key.I want to give one example of the “artwork” created by this professional graphic designer when asked to do a “built local” banner for us... Again, I don't believe much, if ANY effort went into creating this banner as I could done that... See attached.In waiting on proofs, I was told I would have them by Thursday Feb 21st. That day came and went and I was the one that had to follow up asking when I would receive them. On Feb 25th I was informed Stan would be in the following day and doesn't work Mondays. Good to know...I received them Feb 27th and noticed the logo's were quite blurry. I sent an email back asking if that was just the proof or if the original was going to be like that? That's when I was asked to send the logo in a different file format. I wondered if I hadn't said anything, if they would’ve just printed them that way??Fast forward to March 6th. I received an email from Steven which included the following; “The printer head on our oversize printer was leaving lines across your prints, I noticed them yesterday after they finished mounting one of them to the corex backing.  The good news is that we fixed the printer head and will be reprinting them today.  We have enough material to finish the order of course and don’t worry I’m double checking them as they come off of the printer myself.My obvious first thought was WHY DID YOU HAVE TO NOTICE AND NOT THE PRINTER while mounting them? I know he was communicating but my thought was that I now had little confidence in the person doing the job if my sales rep needs to be the one to notice these lines and “double check” the completed work? I just found that to be unsettling.I replied back on March 6th and said thank you, and that I hoped we would see them this afternoon. I received nothing back... I heard nothing March 7th and on March 8th, I received this email at 2:07pm;“The Corex signs are finished however one sign had trouble when it was applied to the backing and has a small line in it.  I can bring down the finished pieces today and reprint the bad one on Monday if you like.”At 2:19pm (12 minutes later), I replied, YES PLEASE. I never did see him and now I just have no idea what to expect. He was the one that offered to bring them and yet still never replied nor showed up at my store.Again, the quality of work seems under par but more importantly, the total lack of quality follow up and even meeting their own timeframes was sadly off the mark without communication.I can only hope now that the finished product is completed properly... It's Saturday March 9th and I have not heard from Steven since him telling me he would bring down the finished pieces. Not even an email or text saying something came up and he couldn't make it! That would've been the minimum expectation.So I'm left to hope I see or hear from him Monday....UPDATE March 12, 2019I would like to thank Scott who did call me on Monday and took full responsibility as a company for the errors. The product turned out great and was hand delivered to me today.
