Overall Feedback:

Was Looking to volunteer and was excited that when BBBS came to my work looking for people, I hopped on it. I apply and did the interview process it seem to go well. I have a clean background, about to go in to law enforcement and had time to set aside for BBBS. They said all was great etc. I did mention I was gay because it should not matter who you are as long as long as your inspiring to be a big brother. I am straight acting and keep that side to myself. Anyway, I got a call a said they were working on my match. 2 weeks later I get a a letter stating I was not a right fit and please dont contact them for a reason as they wont give one. Its not my background so I really feel it because I am gay. I did some research and have not heard many gay people doing this. It maybe this location but feel a little discrimination towards LGBT in there business. I dont recommend applying. I hate they keep coming to my work looking for people where our work is LGBT supportive.
