THE RESPONSE FROM THE OWNER IS FALSE! NO ONE FROM THE COMPANY WOULD HELP ME UNTIL OVER 3 MONTHS AFTER THEY CRASHED MY SITE. BY THAT TIME I WAS NOT INTERESTED IN ANYTHING THEY WERE OFFERING! AS A MANAGER OF A COMPANY I COULD NEVER IMAGINE TREATING A CUSTOMER THE WAY THEY TREATED ME! Below, is the full detailed story that happened: When I first started with Snaptech they treated me well and were helpful and at that time I gave them 5 stars. I also paid them a good sum of money to re-build a website for me, but then the moment I realized they were charging more than other companies for SEO and website design I cancelled their SEO monthly plan. I had already paid in full for the website creation, so I couldn't cancel my site. No one at the company contacted me at the time I cancelled, just all of a sudden in July 2015 my website I paid for in full previously with them went down. They had kept my site on their system for 10 months after I cancelled my monthly plan with them. Then I get a call from the owner saying I owed for hosting for 10 months, when I never wanted my site hosted on their system in the first place. I only paid for SEO, not hosting! I had no idea my site wasn't on my own hosting, which I had been paying monthly to another company since before I ever even hired Snaptech. No one at their company informed me that I should cancel my other hosting. I was in complete shock when suddenly my site went down, and still to this day I can't use the site they created for me. They never uploaded the website creation I paid for to my own web hosting, so I could keep using my website after no longer wanting their SEO monthly service plan. In July 2015 when my site went down, I called them and no one would help me, instead the owner tried to charge me backpay for hosting for 10 months??? and said for more money he could fix the problem. At this point I had lost all trust for Snaptech and couldn't bear to give another cent. At first they wouldn't even send me my website files, until I took further action. Now, they have sent me files that are unusable to myself. Also, all the headers that showed on Google are now gone! I originally posted this negative review in July 2015, when all these problems occurred. Now, in October 2015 I was called by the owner of Snaptech and he threatened me that if I didn't take down the review he would sue me for Defamation of character. I was appalled with this call, because everything I had wrote in the review was from my true experience with them. I was hoping if I wrote this review that someone from the company would care, contact me, and help me. No one called until October! Not only did no one call, but the first call was a threatening call! Then not the owner, but one of the employees did reach out to me and apologize and offer to help me and get the site working again. But unfortunately, since it took them 3 months to contact me I was no longer interested in the offer to upload the site they originally charged me for, because I had already started building a new site. If they had responded to my original negative review when I posted it I would have been happy to have someone from their company help me get my site they were paid for to work again. Overall, One of my worst business decisions I've made financially! I definitely do not recommend Snaptech!Yes, I did contact the BBB and was disappointed they wouldn't help me. I was not provided the reasons that the owner listed by BBB in his comment. I'm not sure if those were the reasons. All I know is no help was offered to me by BBB or Snaptech. The whole situation was extremely disappointing.
