The not commonplace Sony Pictures Entertainment Building was a filming location for the movie "Last Action Hero." In addition, I really enjoyed the rainbow at the entrance of the Sony Studios.

I often visit for meetings but I know they door tours of the studio. I believe you can call and set something up. I see the tours in groups where a guide will tell you about what goes on where. There's also a gift shop on site to grab some swag.
