About - SOS Locksmith DFW

I called SOS locksmith when I realized I had mistakenly Locked my Keys in my car. I got a quote for $75 from another company but when I called SOS they quoted me like $43 or something close (call is recorded supposedly according to SOS) I insisted that before I agreed that the give me an accurate quote for my make and model so I can price compare and be a good consumer. He asked the make and model and gave me the "base price" I thought even if that's off $20 it will still a better price than the other company and he said they were only 15 mins out so I agreed. Mind you it's 100 degrees outside (late sept). This dude doesn't call me for about 30 mins and says he's 30 min out. After an hour I call back and ask how far he is. He tells me 10 mins then calls me again to say he's lost, so I give him directions and he finally gets there. He hands me the pad of paper to sign and date the asks for my ID. I run inside my building with full view of him the entire time and in less than 1 minute flat he's opened my car with the little blood pressure cuff looking deal (I drive a 2003 Ford Taurus) and ive returned with my id. He then checks my id and asks for my card to pay. I'm swiping my card before I realize what he's just done!! He had me sign a blank invoice then pay before telling me the price. So I pull his machine towards me (I'm reading upside down) and say simultaneously "wait how much is it you didn't even say" and I read $194!!!!! What in the actual... are you serious? So I just say "woah that is not what the quoted me or even close" and he says "I don't do the pricing, sorry" the hands me a folded invoice and leave. I immediately read the invoice where he's added in the cost after I've already signed the paper blank and immediately run inside to call the number on the invoice to tell them what just occurred. I realized the name on the invoice wasn't even SOS locksmith and the ladies not only had an attitude and argued that I was not told it would only be $43 or so and that there was no manager and I just needed to send in my invoice and someone would process a refund request on Monday! So I scanned and emailed with a detailed account of wha happened and have not heard anything back. I called SOS locksmith back and spoke with the man who quoted me and he argued that he didn't say $42 and the calls were decided and the finally said "ma'am I said $43 not $42" I'm just bewildered he's arguing over one misspoken dollar and not understanding the fact that I just got charged 194 and waited an hour and a half for this guy to show up! He told me he'd call the driver and get to the bottom of it and call me Monday. I received no calls back. I called A few days later and got someone that said he's the only manager and the only one that can help me. I called back a couple days later and got him and he said "oh yea let me work on this" I got no calls back. I called back again a couple days later and pleaded with the gentleman I spoke with to have this resolved or I'd have no choice but to seek help else where ie reviews, BBB what ever else I could do to expose the gross misleading quotes for pricing and timing and shady practices and clearly practiced methods of keeping people from knowing what the would be paying for and preying on the vulnerable. I've got 3 kids to feed I couldn't afford this insane charge and still can't. All that I asked for was a reasonable refund but at this point for all the effort on my part I want the whole charge reversed. He swiped my card with out authorization to charge that much and was over and hour late. This business is Harming people and hiding when it's time to make things right. Please excuse typos /vague information, as I’m typing on my phone - and iI have detailed records on my work email and happy to provide should someone from this business need to see in order to resolve my issue.
