Squeeze is an awesome place to work, I won't deny that. I was excited to be working with Squeeze and gettinf my life back on track. In December, a cop pulled me over. I had a traffic warrant, as well as another warrant I had no idea I had. My mother called Squeeze and let them know that I was in jail. Jordan (the sandy location director) called my mom back and told her he ran my background and I was being let go. He didn't run anyone else background only mine. I have a feeling he did not run my background because pending charges dont typically show up. I feel he looked at my booking sheet and made his assumptions.After a week, I got out and I went to pick up my check. I asked Jordan why I was let go and I had a feeling he was worried about a certain charge. He didnt even let me explain myself and he assumed I was guilty before i even went infront of the judge. He then promptly stated I was let go for job abandonment, meaning I did not call In 48 hours explaining my absence. I stayed my mother did that, he told me I had to personally do it. I was in jail! did not have the number off the top of my head and I had no money on the phones. I had to someone else's to call my mom! FYI my charge is being dismissed. I felt extremely singled out and embarrassed.
