Client Review on Saint Francis Brewing Company

I literally just came in to fill a growler of root beer and was first ignored by the hostess for five minutes. Then I decided to just go to the bar and ask the bartender. Who also ignored me for another few minutes. Then she told me I had to ask the hostess who ignored me for another few minutes as I was standing literally right in front of the hostess stand. Like she was standing there drawing on the board and ignoring me until I said something. The hostess had no idea what I was talking about when I asked to fill the growler I had. So she had to go get the bartender who then had to show her how to pour a tap and fill the thing. They then charged me full price for both growlers even though I was refilling one I brought in so it should have been discounted (has been in the past) but I'm so irritated at this point that it's not worth waiting another 15 minutes to deal with. They're also covered with root beer and sticky because she didn't wipe them off. I thought the point of using the growlers was to make it easier for people and this turned into a 20 minute ordeal. The hostess and bartender were both super rude and dismissive, unhelpful and gave really terrible customer service. Treated me like some major inconvenience for some freaking root beer. I've eaten here before and the food is fine, kind of mediocre for how expensive it is and the service is never good. I really wish this was a better experience but now I just have a bad taste in my mouth and won't be returning, especially since I've just paid almost $20 for root beer that I had to wait almost 20 minutes for. I've had better service at Applebee's. If you're looking for an authentic restaurant with good service and kind, well trained employees that care about their customers and beer, Cafe Benelux is MUCH better.
