BEWARE CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE - Been shopping here for years and love the products. However I didn't have cash on me today so I payed via credit card. After the transaction was competed I noticed I was charged a surcharge of 3.95% just for using a credit card. First off, state statue is clear in the requirements needed to charge a surcharge. MN325G.051 states "the seller informs the purchaser of the surcharge both orally at the time of sale and by a sign conspicuously posted on the seller's premises". I was not orally notified by the cashier that there would be a service charge added to the transaction total. And I'm not sure I would clarify a sticker not much bigger then a business card as "a sign conspicuously posted on the seller's premises". When I asked the cashier about it she said they offer a discount when paying by cash or check. Nice try with "wordsmithing". The simple truth is I paid more then the listed price because I used a credit card. Shady practices to hopefully slide in the surcharge without the customer knowing. Unfortunately I will not be returning.
