Same as what happened with Shad Hill's review/post. I suggest to move your business elsewhere. Same drama: took the money, zero updates, blames client for stressing him out, 5 percent work done. Sad to say, have to write a review like this to warn those who are about to be on-boarded to not touch this company with a ten foot pole.

Gino Caparas from Stream Engine Studios should win a Pulitzer prize for dishonesty and excuses.I'm going to keep this short and to the point, in the hopes that we can save someone else the trouble from going through the roller coaster of wasted time and money that our NGO has gone through with this thief.After Gino Caparas was verbally hired to do an explainer video for our organization, he was extremely energetic and relentless about getting the first sizable deposit on the project.Once Gino got paid, he turned into a Ghost.I have some empathy for his wife Andrea Santos, because she was the one fielding our correspondence of confusion and anger as she was constantly making excuses for this deadbeat.The project was supposed to take 1 month. 3 months later, here we are with nothing, nada, zippo.They fully intend to keep our money and not deliver any of the work that was promised.Lies, Lies and more lies.This was the last correspondence directly from Gino in quotes."First of all, let me preface this message by letting you guys know that I’m a good guy. I’m highly educated, an honors graduate of Business Management at one of the top schools in the country, I studied abroad as part of my undergrad requirements, and I’ve run Stream Engine credibly and in good faith for more than 6 years. I'm not perfect, I’ve had ups and downs, and I deal with all kinds of stress and anxiety, but I always do my very best regardless of my circumstances, and I never do anything in bad faith with my clients and partners. Most importantly though, I’m now a father of a month-old boy, and I fully intend to raise him with good values and morals, such as honesty, perseverance, and compassion to those in need."No apology, no solution, no refund, no asking to complete the project.I was a new Dad once too, but, I never stole anyone's hard earned money by not delivering on my promise. This money could have been earmarked for a program that would help a child with special healthcare needs.Shame on Gino Caparas.
