Coding is soon to be a common piece of curriculum as part of common core. I'm thrilled that the curious-minded child has an opportunity to get a jump-start into coding and becoming familiar w/ different coding languages at theCoderSchool. We started off in a group class and have been doing a 2 on 1 (student-to-teacher) set of lessons for a couple of years now and my son really enjoys it! Thanks to the administrators and teachers at the San Mateo location for your support!

Our experience at theCoderSchool has been great. We decided to try it out based on the recommendation from a friend and have been very pleased so far: our instructor (Kyle) is extremely patient and is great at motivating the kids. The projects are selected well: the right amount of challenge without being frustrating but complex and real enough that the kids can build something neat. Our son has learned a lot in the past few months and is very excited now about programming and game development.

My son loves the classes. theCoderSchool has made the process fun and reinforcing. The best part are the teachers - they have done a great job adapting their approach to him. I'd strongly recommend trying it out for anyone whose kids may have interest.

Can't tell you how long I waited for such a great coding program/school to open up for the kiddos. I tried on-line learning, books, my own teaching and even hired someone through a freelance website. Then I was headed to Safeway and saw their sign and sighed a sigh of relief. Finally! Signed the little people up for weekly coding sessions and couldn't be happier. The youngsters are now learning Python, CSS etc. Whatever I want or they want. My oldest one has already surpassed my coding ability. So I know they are in good hands.Teachers have been enthusiastic and communicative. Facility is spotless and loaded with fun e-toys.Music is cool.Front desk is always niceThey always respond to emailsThey always call you back.Price is fair.I'd hug them through Google if I could.Sign up but don't take our time slot. :)

My son has been attending the CoderSchool private lessons for the past few years and I did notice his extremely improved/advanced knowledge in terms of computer skill and creativity. Trust me ... this is one of the most valuable investments you can ever be made for your child's future in our extremely competitive world of high-technology!

Both of my kids attend the coder school. They have learned a lot of computer skills while having fun designing their favorite games. This is a great place for any child wanting to learning more about coding.
