I began working with The D5 Group nearly three years ago when I became the communications director for the Youngstown City School District, Youngstown, Ohio. My experience with the company and with its representatives has been nothing but positive. At YCSD, we have used D5 for photography and video services. The company has exceeded expectations every time. We use the photos for our website, social media accounts and in print materials. They range from portraits of school leaders to candid shots of students, families and employees. And they’re all beautiful. We have a red carpet feature at an annual event honoring parents and teachers. Everyone gets dressed up and the honored guests line up to have their photos taken on the red carpet. We post those photos to social media and people get so excited, they begin asking about them within just a couple of days. They’re some of the most popular Facebook posts we have all year. Besides being creative and talented, D5 Group head DeShawn Scott and his team of photographers and videographers are helpful, friendly, cooperative, flexible and more than accommodating. Whatever we ask, they deliver. I can’t say enough about D5 and I enthusiastically recommend them. If you’re in the market for photography or video services, give them a call.

We hired D5 Group to produce a video for us that we use to inform people about vocation training opportunities at our Professional Development Center. We were very pleased with the services they provided. They listened very well, conceptualized our ideas, and then produced a video that was exactly what we wanted. In addition, they were easy to work with. They kept us updated as to the production progress of the video and when changes needed to be made, nothing was a problem for them. They understood and executed the changes without any hassle. Flying HIGH Inc. is a non-profit org that provides opportunities for people's lives to get better - you could see they were genuinely invested in our mission. And this was evidenced by their willingness to work within our budget - which was very much appreciated.I highly recommend their services - you will not be disappointed.

I had a great experience with D5 with headshots to use in my new job. I live and work in DC, but contacted DeShawn at D5 when I was coming home to visit family. He was able to schedule me in quickly and to turnaround the headshots quickly too. He made the process easy from start to finish. I especially appreciated him on the day of the photoshoot. He’s funny, professional, and puts you at ease. Highly recommend.

Professional. Easy to work with. Great at what they do! DeShawn and the entire D5 team are top-notch. Our most recent work with them was for some new professional headshots. The whole experience was fantastic. DeShawn gets you relaxed, feeling confident, and at ease to get the best shots possible. Ridiculously fast turnaround time, and top-notch quality pictures.
