I went there to promote an event Sippin Sundaze day party, they offered table and champaign for free. We talked with the manager before the event, reposted on our social channels, invites some friends, then they wanted to charge us for the champaign. We had to leave, it was extremely humiliating. Holding an event has never been as memorable as with The Holding Company! Where else but this unique venue for your one-of-a-kind party, one wonders stepping into the romantic reception courtyard. The variety of spaces within this former auto shop are impressive, just beyond the rustic carport that opens to super high ceilings and a large dining area with visions of a dance floor, equipped with a seamless cyclorama wall for projections and presentations. An upstairs VIP perch overlooks the gathering, but also functions as a down-time space for the inner-circle to regroup. Indeed it is the many corner pockets that lend THC its hidden charm, in line with its greater Los Angeles access point, nestled conveniently between downtown and Hollywood; sprinkled throughout the building blocks are small lounges, a petit bar, a two-seater for a catch-up, a lowrider table for an intimate conversation. This place really has it all, which makes it versatile, customizable to your specifics. I have hosted an event, and attended another here, both wildly different in nature - and both were a wild success! What they have in common is the beautiful setting, the can-do professional team and the experience of having been a part of something locally established while recognized allover - it is The Holding Company where you will see friends, meet clients, celebrate loved-ones. On the menu: THC continues to be the ingenue venue to the rescue!

Kind of confusing to get to but a cool venue (entrance is in the alley/up a driveway).Nice outdoor space, love the decor indoors. Clean bathrooms (always important to me). I just never went upstairs so I don't have an opinion on that.

We came from the Los Angeles area just to visit. Verdict, I loved it, even though they cannot do fire anymore because of the fire department. It's still a full experience and that says a lot, because I love the fire as part of my tiki experience. Definitely try the Rum Barrel! I cannot wait to come back. Great place, decor, drinks and fellow tiki enthusiasts.

I had the pleasure of coordinating a wedding this past weekend at The Holding Co. Our original venue was caught up in the Woolsey Fire, so we had to scramble around the day before the wedding for a new place to hold the nuptials! LUCKILY— The Holding Co was available and the owner Will was able to swoop in and accommodate us. Talk about SAVING THE (big & once-in-a-lifetime) DAY!!Venue: It comfortably accommodated 140 guests. We held the ceremony in the patio, which had adorable bistro lights hanging above, and every inch of the venue was stylish & well thought out. The venue has cute furniture pieces for you to use (bar, wooden table, 16 ft table, etc…) There’s a spacious room upstairs that we used as storage & wedding party room. We had to do a quick chair flip for the reception (which was held inside) and it was seamless! It looks small when you initially look at it, but when you start adding furniture and people, you’re in for a sweet surprise. The venue itself has an urban feel to it. It’s clean, well kept & it amazes me how they were able to get things going for us at the absolute last minute.Valet: The valet team were ON IT! They got the guests in & out of their vehicles swiftly and efficiently. I love how the venue accommodated this for us so we didn’t have to worry about it.Service: The owner Will was more than helpful. I should’ve been in panic mode (due to the circumstance) but Will offered to help in any way possible and truly cared. He stayed extra late and he didn’t leave until I felt confident about everything. We were also assigned an on site coordinator on the day of. Baxter was on it and the biggest help!! I don’t know what I would’ve done if these two weren’t there. Team work makes the dream work!!The couple and the guests were more than pleased and extremely impressed with everything and everyone. What could’ve been a total mess became such an experience and created a bond between all the vendors and I can’t imagine a better team that could’ve salvaged the wedding the way we did. Thank you guys!! I can’t wait to host another event with you!

The Holding Co. is an awesome venue! My company has thrown their Holiday Party there for the last 3 years. It's always a blast! The staff and management are always very friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with. Such a great event space for any type of event. Look forward to more events there in the future.
