Overall Feedback:
This so called agency has a myriad of ISSUES that is overlooked by the public. I will name the problems below as to why this agency should not be of choice when it comes to 'entertainment and music'. The FOLLOWING ISSUES INCLUDE, TERRIBLE PAYROLL SYSTEM, LACK DIVERSITY, NEPOTISM (THEY HIRE PEOPLE THEY KNOW!), GIVE RAISES TO PEOPLE THEY KNOW, TREAT MARKETING REPRESENTATIVES POORLY, SHARE PERKS AMONGST THEMSELVES, OVERWORK THEIR REPRESENTATIVES, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TRY TO SELL THEIR INDEPENDENT CONTRACT First, they put up job posting trying to sell their 'Marketing Representative' positions in which is another word for INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR which in reality doesn't make you an ACTUAL employee. Therefore, you have no rights or standards on the 'job'. Therefore, if you get injured or if something happens to you then they won't be held responsible which is extremely dangerous and inconsiderate and should be at least explained when one is on boarded WHICH IS NOT. Also, they ship you boxes of materials that one should be distributed making it over 50 lbs which is a lot to carry. Now, if one is injured while distributing those materials they won't be held responsible making it unfair. The "position" should be EXPLAINED. THEY ALSO GIVE YOU WORK ON TOP OF WORK AND ASK YOU TO STAY LONG TO DISTRIBUTE MORE MATERIALS . That's a VIOLATION of the Independent Contract you are not supposed to be given extra hours to work you are allowed to go home.Second the issue I will touch upon is the TERRIBLE PAYROLL SYSTEM. When I would get paid I would wait almost more than a month for my money would send following e-mails over and over.. I would continuously have to wait for a check. I also believe til this day that my compensation was not executed properly because there was no record for the amount of hours/gig I did. Also, as someone who has filled out w-3 form there should be a record of one's payment history. No one should have to wait to get a simply check at the end of the month. Pay roll is not an extensive process . Third, this places lacks diversity there is not a single face that is a person of color in that office. This is uncomfortable because every workplace should be mandated to have minorities in the office. Potential candidates of color were not picked an official position why is that? Why is that no-one in that office represents blue -collar America? Apart from that they hire who they know, also from what I seen there has been workers who are in romantic relationships. What makes you think nepotism won't happen. They either know or hire a friend of a friend for the MOST part. Also special jobs that they hand out are saved for individuals they know for a while. Shouldn't it be based on merit and effort?Overall, they are just nice and welcoming to people they know. The work environment is a secluded one in which they only save the perks to themselves. Super selfish environment. :-)
