Client Review on The Virginia Beer Company

The venue was very spacious, the staff was super friendly and helpful, enjoyed the live music. As a beer lover I was extremely let down. One of the IPA’s had an extremely funky taste (wheat IPA) tasted like bacteria had invaded the batch perhaps. Every beer on my flight tasted like penny’s had been soaking in it for at least a week. I’ve only ever experienced this metallic taste with “homebrew” beers that use extracts instead of whole grain. I would like to thin a brewery of this magnitude would have graduated from extracts, but here we are. I was highly disappointed and felt like I wasted my money. It took half a day to get the taste of copper out of my mouth. I hope the brewmaster steps his game up, as of now I have told everyone I know to stay away and save their money.
