Feedback:

A beautiful little seaside town, nestled in the OBX. we’re new to the area, but have found this town to be particularly well maintained and pleasant. Much of the lower OBX feels a bit too much like myrtle beach, in a bad way. The restaurants and shops are nice, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we did here. If we return to the OBX we will probably try to stay in Duck or above. It felt a bit local/small/quaint.... except for the SUper Wings.

Feedback:

Duck is an extremely well-managed, beautiful, continually-improving seaside/soundside town. I have been visiting Duck since before Neil Armstrong walked on the moon in 1969. I have owned property in Duck since 1987. I now make my permanent residence in Duck and I operate a rental cottage in Duck. Duck is the best place on earth to honeymoon, vacation, live and retire,..and I’ve done all of these things in Duck. Great fishing in the fall and spring; great inexpensive golf courses all year long; a highly-responsive and accommodating group of professionals managing the town, an outstanding police department, a great full-time fire department, highly-responsible hard-working business owners, and the greatest sunsets anywhere. Duck is the best place on earth. My 50 years of life experience in Duck has been, and continues to be, a dream come true. If I could rate Duck 10 stars, I would. I’m looking forward to living out my remaining 30+ years in this beautiful town. - KG Farah, Duck NC

Feedback:

The town does not have any public beach access despite using public tax dollars to maintain the beach.

Feedback:

No need to stay in this town. No public beach access. This is just a reminder to myself. This is not meant to say anything about the township or the city hall.

Feedback:

The town apparently admires plutocracy, but is not honest in its embrace. Having the beaches labeled as "public" while having zero public access points is a very dishonest maneuver to thwart we "common folk," also kown as the public, from actually enjoying our public right. Shame on the town for their unholy alliance with the bourgeoisie!

Feedback:

No public beach accesses but claim the beaches are public. Boo Duck!
