Can’t recommend Trig and Char enough, they were spectacular. They are so friendly and fun and made my husband and I completely comfortable with the wedding photo process. My wedding was the third time I have used Trystan photograph and I will continue to use them in the future. They know how to capture the best candid moments and the posed family photos and even though the weather during our wedding ceremony provided a bit of a challenge, our photos turned out spectacular.

Our family photos were AMAZING!! Char was the dog whisperer that was able to get my hyper dog to sit still for some stunning pictures. Will definitely have photos done with them in the future!

We would highly recommend Trystan Photography! Seriously, you can stop looking now. Trig and Charlotte were awesome to work with and made every interaction fun and engaging. Since we had already done engagement photos in Austin, but they came as part of this package, they let us do a family photo shoot instead. When that time came the weather was horrible and we decided to do the family shots in their studio, which still turned out amazing. Trig knew we were bummed since we chose them for their amazing landscape shots, so they went out of their way to schedule another engagement shoot for us at The Garden of the Gods. He was incredible when interacting with my 2 year old nephew and he doesn’t mind laying down in the dirt or in the middle of a road to get you the perfect shot. He had us laughing the whole time, which got some great genuine smiles, though made it pretty hard to come back from when he wanted to get a serious-face shot. Everything leading up to the wedding went smoothly and they even made a trip out to the venue to check it out ahead of time since they hadn’t shot there before. We also booked them to do our videography, so Trig was on video and Charlotte was on photos and they both brought assistants. So we had four people catching every moment of the day, which turned out to be very helpful for all those times when the bride and groom are separate. If you are anything like me, and blackout / can’t fully recall what was said at those key moments like during your proposal or at your ceremony, then I would wholeheartedly suggest finding the extra money to get their videography. We received three videos - the full ceremony, the full toasts, and a 5 minute highlights video. I am so thankful to have all of them. The videos were so clear and the sound quality was excellent and they were able to catch all of the little detailed moments like our parents and friends tearing-up, the flower girl dumping out her whole bucket, and my silly husband waving to me as I walked down the aisle. The photos are equally stunning. They have an amazing ability to catch the gorgeous sunlight through the clouds and still have brightness and depth to the colors. I was very happy to find out that they were able to get photos of all of our guests during dinner and they even stayed a little later for free to make sure that they got some shots of the dancing. I can’t sing their praises enough. I would chose them again and again. It took about four months to receive everything, but the photos and videos were so incredibly worth the wait!

Cannot say enough amazing things!!! I am not usually a fan of taking photos but Trig and Char made it easy, quick, and enjoyable!!! They were easy to work with, laid back, and accommodated our every need leading up to and on our wedding day. The photos themselves are even better than the experience, and we are thrilled that we found such a wonderful set of people to work with. I can not recommend them highly enough.

Trystan Photography...there are no words!!! They are absolutely amazing and they work so hard to ensure you are 100% happy! Trig and Char are incredible people who can even make people who hate taking photos (my husband) enjoy taking photos!! They will do whatever it takes to make sure you get the best possible photos...even if it means Trig laying on the ground in the middle of a crowd (which is a great site to see). I am so happy we chose them as our wedding photographers and we HIGHLY recommend them for all of your photography needs...you won't be sorry!!!

Trystan Photography exceeded my wildest expectations – our wedding photos are beyond amazing! Viewing the photos allowed us to relive the whole day; they truly captured the spirit of our ceremony and reception. Trig was so easy to work with, he made my husband and I feel incredibly comfortable during our shoot and the end results are magazine-worthy. Trystan Photography provided us with both artistic and dramatic shoots, as well as fun and formal portraits. They can truly do everything! Definitely five stars!

With many moving parts between the ceremony location and reception, they eased through their shot list and captured the details without me ever having to ask if they needed more time. Luckily I saw this photographer's true colors before actually signing the contract. I had been corresponding with him via phone and email (I live 2 hours away from Colorado Springs, but not out of state), and had decided to sign a contract with him for our wedding. He was helpful and seemed excited to photograph our wedding. We tentatively planned a face-to-face meeting.... and then he didn't email me back with a definitive time till that day... which was a week and a half later. He then showed up 5 minutes late and didn't apologize or even acknowledge that he was late.Our meeting was scheduled for 2 pm and my mom and I were still sitting outside his studio at 2:05 pm when he showed up. A vendor that respects your time shouldn't be just parking outside their building at 2 pm- they should be there at least a few minutes prior.I felt that he dressed unprofessionally and he seemed to not be interested in my opinion or wants for my wedding. He tells all of his clients that he is all about "having fun". I like having fun too.... but I also don't want my wedding photographer showing up late to my wedding or not emailing me back. When I confronted him about showing up late and not emailing me back he said, "It's because you aren't a client yet... you're only a potential client." I felt that I wasn't important to him before giving him the signed contract and check, so I was definitely worried how important I would be once I had handed over the contract and check. Take my advice and hire a wedding photographer that you can actually trust. I'm very glad that I will be having someone else photograph one of the most important days of my life. Do you really want to hire someone who doesn't respect you until you are a client?? That is what truly upset me. I want to have fun on my wedding day, but that won't happen if I can't trust my photographer to do their job.
