UPDATE: 02/13/2019Initially, I gave UnoDuece about 3 stars. You can read my original review below. I have since updated this review to give 5 stars for several reasons.First, when I left my review, Paul was sure to reach out to me and see if he could pick my brain. He wanted to see where things went wrong and how he could make it better. This improved my overall impression of the company's customer service. Through the experience, it became clear that he did care about his clients.Second, after my initial project, I interviewed several other video companies but I wasn't too happy with those other companies for a few reasons.1. PRICING - UnoDeuce has some of the best pricing. It's fair.2. PAYMENT OPTIONS - UnoDeuce is very flexible on their payment terms. Most companies wanted 50% payment upfront and then shortly after the project started -- some in lump sum and some in installments. UnoDeuce is able to work with my cash flow (I have a business that has a long sales and cash flow cycle), so having a company that can work with that is huge for me. I think it's huge for start up businesses, too. This is a great company if you're just starting out in your business but looking to add video to improve your marketing.3. OWNERSHIP RIGHTS - you have to be careful when you hire someone to create something for you. Many of the video companies I interviewed wanted to keep ownership rights to your video and then license the video to you. This means you can't do anything to edit the video without permission. For example, want to take the video you hired someone to make and cut it down to 30 seconds instead of the full 1 minute video? Nope, you would be violating the laws. To stay compliant, you would need permission and likely need to pay the video company to license or edit the video.-- Overall, UnoDuece was decent. Video Quality: 4 StarsPrice: 3 StarCustomer Service and Satisfaction: 1 StarThe final production of the videos were good. I can’t really complain about the quality and the story. I gave them a narrative I was trying to tell for every video and I think they did a great job aligning making sure the final video told that story. And these videos have played and will continue to play an important role in my business.My only grievance when it came to video quality was that enough b-roll wasn’t shot and they had to substitute some of the video with photos. I thought that brought the quality down a little bit. I wouldn’t have minded, but considering I was quoted on the project for b-roll, I thought we would have had more.After being upset a bit about the quality of the first video and overall experience, I started to look elsewhere for a video company to work on my next series of video projects. I discovered that UnoDeuce is priced pretty fair. Many of the estimates I got from other video companies were much higher than the price UnoDeuce charged.Only negative I had with price boiled down to what felt like a “hidden fee”. I know Paul said there was a trip charge for videos outside of Lansing. Maybe it’s my fault for not asking, but I was surprised when I got an invoice for a trip charge out to Eaton Rapids. I would have thought that to be in Lansing. As a real estate agent, I certainly consider it to be in Lansing.UnoDeuce was gracious enough to charge only 40% down deposit instead of their original 50% so that worked out nicely as I was starting up my business.As far as customer service goes, I wasn’t too impressed. I spent nearly $2,000 with the company and didn’t receive a single “thanks for business” thank you card or anything. I was a little surprised by that. And there was limited follow up after the videos started. Rather than collecting feedback along the way, the company doesn’t ask for it until the end.Overall, if you’re looking for decent videos for a fair price but don’t mind putting in some work yourself and keeping the relationship transactional, then I recommend them. If you’re looking for a top-notch experience, I would consider paying the extra cost to use another video company.

I’ve worked with videographers in various capacities for over 15 years, and I can tell you these guys are experts. Don’t know what you’re doing? It’s okay – they do. And they’ll guide you through each step of the process. Have your own ideas? They will take make those ideas come to life in a way that you never imagined. And the results will be amazing!
