Do not ever get a website through Valpak. I've had the worst experience a small business owner could have. From the get go, it was a mess! I was dealing with an incompetent tech that was building the site for me. Communication was horrible and she was not getting the picture. It took 3 months to get my site up & running, all why I was getting charged a "maintenance fee" every month. The cost of the site was well over $1,600. After going to cancel my mandatory 12 month commitment I was told there were extra fees to cancel. Misunderstanding or not the sales rep argued with the customer (me) that I would not own the site and would need to pay these fees to obtain the site I paid $1600+ for. Long story short I transferred my Domain (web address) and they wouldn't release the content to me until my "Hidden fees" were paid. Live and learn I guess?! I went through Go Daddy and built a site that is 10 times better than the one Valpak built for me and it was at a quarter of the costs. Valpak is okay for advertising mailers but they are HORRIBLE when it comes to building a website and customer service. Customers come first in my industry and they clearly didn't care about my business. Instead the sales rep has the nerve to tell me its "Bad Business". True professionalism at its finest. In the end I am out $1,600+ and had to end up buying a whole new site and setting it up myself.

Valpak has been great for my company. We had a great response to the offer on our ad. Lindsay was great to work with and was knowledgeable and creative. She went the extra mile to ensure we were advertising correctly by researching what would work the best for our demographic. I definitely recommend valpak as an effective way to market.

Valpak I'm sure works great for some, however for me and my business it was a mistake. That's. It why I am giving this a bad review. I am giving it a poor review because as the customer I was never listened to, and when doing business I felt like I was battling them half the time. I did not like the experience and for me it was a complete waste of money and energy. You don't run my company valpak, I do. I know what works for me and I know what generates my business, you seem to think you know more about my company than I do, but I will tell you that you do not.
