Our local neighborhood gem. We try to get here once a week if we can. Love our bartenders and servers. It is not uncommon to hear the Italian language ringing through the air like an opera. Nicola and Fabrizio Carro have brought a slice of Milano to Miami’s Mimo district. Fresh homemade pastas are the star but share their glory with beautifully wonderful appetizers of grilled octopus or the rich and creamy tomino wrapped in speck. Another must try is the fried meatballs with a side of Ricotta cheese. Yummy! Don’t get me started in the Chicken Parm. Probably the best I’ve EVER had. It is not your typical American style parm. It is light and zesty. The pork Milano is another favorite. Via Verdi is the best kept secret in Miami. The food and staff make you feel happy when you’re sad and celebrate with you when you’re happy. Reminiscent of a bistro on a sidewalk in Milano. Spectacular full bar where you can get traditional Italian aperitifs and cocktails as well as drinks to fit the American palette. There is something for everyone! Grazie Mille Via Verdi!
