Great Escape Room. The "Crypt Room" was both challenging and fun (we did not make it out). Staff was great and friendly. If you are in New Haven and want a fun activity please consider the New Haven Escape Room.

Excellent puzzles and atmosphere! We did the Crypt escape room with two strangers--both great solvers--and finished with around 13 minutes left. The clues were always helpful and not too vague, and the puzzles were all very tactile (manipulables, fitting together objects, making use of your senses) even though they led to keys or combo locks. An altogether pleasant surprise and fun time in New Haven!

Took my little cousin here! It was his first first time at an escape room and it was my first time here. Just walking in is the beginning of something really fun. The glass going down the stairs is shaped as a key! Then there’s maps and fun wall art in the hallway. The waiting room is a cute little area with a small gift shop. They do have a bathroom and let you use it if needed before the game begins. Our “instructor” lady was very kind and very into her job. She also had funny jokes throughout her speech of the rules. We then followed her into our room. She then continued the act of the story of why we are in the room and then the games began. Lots of fun this place like I said the workers are great and the room which we did the gallery was tons of fun! Highly recommend can’t wait to try another one of the rooms!

My 23 year old son, my husband and I went to Escape New Haven for the first time and had a blast! I had never been to an escape room and found the experience really exciting. It stimulates your brain and brings the best out of everyone's spirit of cooperation. Bring along a young person, though! It helped a lot to have him there!

When I was booking, I accidentally booked for the wrong date and didn’t notice until my group arrived. The staff was so accommodating and kind enough to let us play. (Make sure to double check your appointment date and time before paying.) The staff is great and The Gallery room was so much fun and so interesting! I highly recommend Escape New Haven!
