Though it’s a couple of years appreciation is never time bound henceforth I take this Movement to congratulate the team ‘Vinoothna Geetha’. My team being one among the contenders, as my memory dates back. That day, when we arrived at the venue probably around 11:00Am we went ‘wow’ looking at the crowd, as it was first of its kind for me and my team. Even today I wonder about the saying ‘all good things come at the last and always in little quantities’ often used in homes of Indian subcontinent. Adding to my puzzle was this little sweet short shot romantic story that got screened towards the end and bagged the biggies like best musical score, best film Hyderabad. Team Vinoothna Geetha occupying couple of rows at the back that I was yet unaware of until I turned around. The excitement was getting higher and higher as we were rolling down one category after the other. Sound decimals inside auditorium roared high as the adrenaline pushed out of the fella teams and audiences as results were announced. The judgment was revealed much earlier wide accolades of divine audiences, as we designate them to ‘Janatha Janardhan’ here in India. Made the team grab ‘the audience award winner’ as pushed into group ‘C' of the contest. The energy went high, amidst applause audience buzzed as the man of the hour ‘Tharun’ and his team came ahead. The mixing of applause and the crowds overwhelming reaction was right in tune with time. I could see all those fingers crossed got relaxed among the competitors for 48Hour Film Project.The team rushed down, on to stage to collect the award. The victory clearly showcased team spirit. Though the male lead Kireeti Damaraju of ‘Anukokunda’ -the short film could not practically be a part of happy moments ‘Ritu Verma’ backed the best acting female and lot of guys hearts as well. One must not hold back in believing the pain that each one has put in. Talent in youth of Hyderabad has grown leap and bounds. Youth in city has tremendous potential in capturing and canvasing their thoughts through lenses. The elegant presentation of the film, with 24frames at play, made the team to stand where they stood and have also landed the short film to be screened at Cannes. One may even wonder the quality produced is an effort just out of 48hours! There is more to contemplate on this but one has to essentially for accurate summations make a note that it’s the hard work that ultimately pays. You may call them a group of friends or a team. The final cut being true commitment, consistency, last but not the least the passion speaks for them.Sowjanyaz speak. ©
