Great company, highly recommend !

We have a wall unit for a single room upstairs that is less than 2 years old and has only been used seasonally in the summer months, so maybe 7-8 months. This year it wouldn’t turn on at all so we called to get it fixed with the company that installed it, which is Warren. The lady that answers the phone had an attitude about our warranty to begin with and we were hesitant to use them but didn’t know we could use another company and still have our warranty. We eventually called back to schedule an appointment for diagnostics and she was nicer that day so I set up the appointment for my day off. The technician was 45 minutes late and my husband had to call to see why, it should be a courtesy to call if you’re running late, and all we were told was he was on his way. The man was here off and on about 3 hours and kept calling his boss to try and figure out what was wrong, he was also smoking outside my home which I find very unprofessional. The gentleman nonetheless was polite and told me it was our circuit board and that he would order the parts and call us they following Monday to set up an install day. He said it was a simple fix. We paid $65 for the diagnostics and were told by the technician that it would be 1/2hr of labor at the return for $52, which we agreed to and were very happy with. He explained they don’t charge hourly rates during diagnostics, only during repair. Thursday the following week we still hadn’t heard back and were told that it wasn’t our circuit board it was our compressor, which was not what we were told by the technician, and also told it would be closer to $400 to repair and that parts had already been ordered, which was news to us. No one ever called to even tell us that. My husband was obviously upset and tried to explain the situation to the woman and she was very rude and hateful and told us we could take our business elsewhere if we didn’t trust their tech, which is what we fully intend to do. We were told one thing and then called to find out that they were saying something else, which obviously makes us question things. She also told us we should be thankful because we should’ve been charged $120, which is not the case because all they did that day was come to diagnose, nothing was repaired or worked on. After complaining to the owner we did get our money back for the initial appointment, which I’m thankful for. I would never use this company again. The sheer lack of respect and understanding for their customers is evident. The woman called to tell me about our refund and was hateful and had an attitude, my first time even speaking to her. I am astounded at the way innocent customers get treated when this company was the one that got their information wrong. I luckily have cameras surrounding my home to back up everything I told them as well but obviously they didn’t care. I will take my business where it can be appreciated. That woman needs a new job not working in the public and this company needs to work on customer service and communication.
