My experience? So now "educational tv," which used to show PBS series based on the wonderful mysteries of P.D. James and Barbara Vine and beautiful, classic and classy series of televised novels by great artists--now we get "The Dark Charisma of Hitler"--complete with Beethoven, glorifying this ghoul? Who owns your company? Is it the Koch brothers, who, of course, are related to people who were high up in the Nazi party? How is this television which enlightens, gives joy, provides works which inspire critical thinking? This is as low as I have seen this station go. So now it's Antiques Roadshow and Hitler? Instead of Jane Austen and Shakespeare and great art? Hitler's men destroyed art. Klimt's great masterpiece, depicting Robert Schumann at the piano, was burned along with much other great art at a villa in Austria after the Nazis had lost. One final party at the Schoss Immendorf. I am going to start a campaign to boycott your programming. Your insensitivity to the millions murdered by Mr. Hitler and his goons, your putting a program about Hitler as if this is an educational matter of history--as in a program on George Washington or James Madison or Winston Churchill--is beyond belief. How dare you?
