I really miss walking into the Belton West Central office and immediately felt like i was walking into my second home. Rebecca had always made sure of that, from the front door and through each office of that whole building. Now, even though some of the same people I've always loved worked with are still there, the entire building feels like I'm going through booking/intake for jail or a psych unit. Everything is the same dull gray color palette, there's absolutely nothing on the walls, the waiting room is closed off from everything else, as well as having to talk through the Plexiglass and receiving a visitors pass, just to check in for an appt. It's depressing just to go in....so i can only imagine what the nice people that work there All day Mon through Fri end up Feeling like at work.
