This is the first time that I have made a FFL gun transfer, I found Josh to be extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly both on the phone and in person at their store. I was given some tips on the gun and also giving me comfort by telling me if I have any other questions call in and they would be only too pleased to answer them. Immensely satisfied with the service and their work ethics.

THIS IS FOR THE DAVENPORT LOCATION - BEWARE OF THE LAKELAND LOCATION. The are two separate entities, with West Coast Pawn ad Gun in DAVENPOT, being one of the best pawn shops around.I pride myself as a beginner collector of semi-rare firearms, which has led me over my time span to call MANY pawn shops.I evaluate any businesses effectiveness on three components; professionalism, eagerness to help, and likability. First, regarding professionalism, every staff member of the shop has extensive knowledge of firearms, more so than some specified gun stores in the area. They will answer every question you need, in person, or over the phone. The best part, the return calls in a matter of minutes. You can tell this family owned business is the standard of the American Dream; hard working, knowledgeable, and great customer service.Second, regarding eagerness to help, all the staff, with special thanks to Tony, are willing to help you with any question you need. Unlike most pawn shops, that call you back just to get a sale, this shop will call you back for questions un-related to their benefit. For example, at the beginning of my firearm journey, I had just looked up pawn shops in the area, and called there location first just to talk about smart shopping regarding used guns I had also ask many different gun, and non-related gun questions, they were happy to answer my calls, and return them, despite it having no benefit to their shop. That, is what I call an eagerness to help.Third, great customer service. I know, a bit repetitive, but I believe I can not highlight enough, how helpful the staff is. Tony, and the younger gentleman (I forgot his name) have helped me through countless transactions. I am pretty sure I have blown out their eardrums with the amount of times I have called them, whether it was asking if my firearms had come in yet, or how to ship a gun to another state. Shop here, you won't regret it, they are setting the highest of standards for family owned shops.
