It's a pretty cool thing to see when heading East bound on I70 when passing Junction city and Manhattan. It's pretty cool to see over on the horizon on a clear day.

Largest source of point mercury pollution in the state along with carbon dioxide emissions. Should be replaced with wind, solar, or natural gas as a last resort. No coal needs to be burned anymore when all other sources are much cheaper and better for public health and environment.

The towers are certainly an impressive site, arising out of the mostly flat Kansas prairie. Of course, having an energy plant nearby is helpful.
