This is a first-hand review experience regarding Fazli Taufek of WhiteSpace poor photography service.We hired Fazli for our wedding in April 2016, and you should know by reading this that that did not turn out to be a smart move.We were unsatisfied with the service primarily due to (more details in our email exchanges):1. poor quality works such as wonky photo, potentially better photos had our heads cut-off, selected photos for album printing were bad2. Upon meeting at WhiteSpace to express our disappointment (which he also managed to be an hour late - goes to show how he did not really take this seriously), Fazli never once apologies, yet insisting that it was his "style". Well, I did my research beforehand on his website, that does not seem to be the truth. And obviously I did not hire him to take such photos...So we seek refund which he agreed to give a few months ago. We took down our review on Whitespace as agreed in our email. However, until today, no refund is made. We contacted him via whatsapp and email, no response. Then we thought, this guy is workng there, how is it Whitespace has nothing to do with him.So we advise to whoever wants to hire photographer for wedding, seriously think twice. Dont take the chances as wedding is an important once-in-a-lifetime event. It is not worth the risk. It has been a while and we dont sense any urgency from him to settle this. Note how he responded to my email; lack of respect, lack of professionalism, lack of effort. Lacking all good stuff. Maybe there are professional people at Whitespace, but I can tell you Fazli is not one of them.Value your hard-earned money and put it somewhere worth it.

My husband employed Fazli Taufek and his two assistants for wedding photography back in April 2016. Fazli Taufek is associated with White Space.Unfortunately, his lack of focus and skill meant that special moments were not captured throughout three different events across two days. The people in the picture either have half their head chopped off or their bottom half are not in the image. Pictures were also wonky and taken at bad angles. The photographers are taller than me and my husband. I cannot fathom why the pictures do not include foreheads! To top it off, Fazli didn't prove that he had the eye and skills to select and edit pictures for our album. The 80 page album was clearly rushed, as it included a random and repetitive arrangement of pictures.My husband and I are very disappointed with the service provided. We decided it was best to meet and discuss the matter. Fazli was 40 minutes late. No apology though, as he clearly felt self righteous.Fazli didn't even apologise for not taking decent portrait pictures of us- the most important people - BRIDE and GROOM!! He claims it is his "photographic style". Yet no one pays for wonky pictures or pictures of half a head right?! Oh and no examples of that "photographic style" is displayed at White Space office. It is absolute nonsense, Fazli and his crew cannot justify the poor quality of the pictures! Fazli had agreed to reprint the album. But since we felt that he couldn't be trusted to choose good pictures, I had to invest my time to do a job we had paid him for. Ironic! I had to spend over 5 hours carefully selecting pictures, the right layout and annotations (for editing purposes) for the entire 76 pages. Having created a very detailed spreadsheet and 76 different folders for the images per page, I wanted to meet and transfer the files to Fazli. To make life somewhat easier for an incompetent photographer. However, Fazli was clearly avoiding us for weeks on end- not replying texts, emails and calls. In fact, I even rang the White Space office once and the person I spoke to had the nerve to hang up! I found this behaviour incredibly rude and I'm astounded as to why I would expect anything more from someone that has clearly conned us. Obviously there was never a reprint of the album!!! Fazli tried to offer us a refund to silence us...Fazli couldn't even stick to his own words let alone a very overdue refund deadline. More than 4 months have passed since Fazli tried to offer a refund! I do not forget unfortunate events so it serves you right that I had always saved this review!As long as Fazli Taufek is associated with White Space, you cannot expect much professionalism and quality photography. He had previously requested that I retract my review as it would affect the business on the whole. Well guess what? My wedding has been and gone and you failed at your job. So why should I care about your business???Fazli chose to provide poor service and didn't follow through with a refund. He had admitted to providing poor service in the past, and promised a refund on the basis of retracting my review. On the other hand, being able to share this review of your service is more important than getting my money back. It is not as if a refund makes up for all the missed opportunities to take pictures of moments on our special day. Fazli, you messed it up and cannot compensate us enough! I am sharing my bad experience with you so that no one else has to go through such disappointment. Employing Fazli Taufek was our biggest regret. I would never recommend him! Choose your wedding photographer wisely as it is a once in a life time event.
