Client Review on Wolftrap Farm

My daughter got married here on 11/5/18. Beautiful venue. I rented out the Manor house for two nights. It made it nice to stay on the grounds where the wedding was held. However, I was extremely disappointed with the Manor house. During the two night stay my family and I experienced excessive flies in the home; at least 20 wasps were killed in the bedrooms; slow draining sink; water leak and dripping on the stairs during the rain that occurred during the two days (this was a slip and fall hazard); dirty dishes in the cupboard with the clean ones; circuit breaker in kitchen was tripped so that making coffee was impossible; the sofa bed in the "bunk room" was broken and unable to use; sheets in one room was disgustingly dirty. One or two of these things would not have been worth mentioning but they all added up to a disappointing stay. I did contact management and some things were fixed during our time there. However, when contacting the owner upon my return to Texas about the problems, he basically put them back on us and only apologized for the sofa bed. I think the condition of the home did not warrant the cost charged. I was expecting a five star place and I would rate it barely three stars.
