Well, after the lovely time we had at a coffee shop in Powell this morning, our evening meal was a kind of a letdown. Not sure if BINGO night had them slammed or if they always struggle to keep up with customers. We sat at our table for 20+ minutes before getting fed up and my partner had to physically walk into the kitchen just to find someone to take our drink order. After that things improved, and our waitress did do a wonderful job taking care of us. Poor woman seemed like she was running the whole place herself and I rarely saw any other server. She kept a positive attitude and got our entrees out hot and fresh (and our burgers were really flavorful) - huge props to Ariel for salvaging the night. She's the reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 2.

Every time I sit on the bar side the service is ridiculously slow. Our drinks sit empty, our server walks by us without bothering to see if we want anything, and our orders are never right. Just as garbage as the Millstone.

Great beer here. I started out with the Kilted Cowboy, a remarkable Scottish ale. It's one of the best Scottish ales I've had in the US, malty with a prominent peat-smoked finish. Next, I had the guest pour, the Baltic Porter from Black Tooth in Sheridan, also delicious. I was so pleasantly surprised that I went back the next day for the Bangtail Brown, a robust porter with a strong roasted-malt finish. I followed that up with the Honey Rye, a light, mildly bitter ale with spice and a hint of coriander in the finish. All said, excellent beers. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are seriously awesome. I didn't try the food.

a bit pricey. always had a good time when they first opened a few years ago. stopped in today and still a great atmosphere. never had the food, so this review is for the beer and ambience.
