Timofey at A4VIEW is our architect and project manager. I use a wheelchair and have a 60-year-old house. He consistently keeps our budget and my unique needs in mind. Together, we figured out how best to create a house where we can age in place while maximizing my family's quality of life now. He has vetted quotes from multiple, reputable companies at each stage of the process, from general contractors to the suppliers of our windows, and everything in between. This has helped us keep our costs down while obtaining the best products and workmanship. Both prior to and as hidden conditions from shoddy work prior to our ownership have revealed themselves (lack of appropriate waterproofing, etc.), his knowledge and advocacy on our behalf has kept the job to fair market prices, rather than include the mark up that a project managed by a general contractor might typically charge when there is no choice but to get the unforeseen work done. I have been a part of the complete renovations of four bathrooms and two kitchens in the past. This is the most extensive construction project I have ever undertaken, and it is the only time I have had peace of mind.
