I am a writer, with a novel released in spring 2016, my first to be published. I was hooked up with Artotems Co. by my publisher in order to establish a social media presence, and was immediately put at ease as they took their time getting to know me. Their first photo of me, taken under a tree with an imaginary bird alighting on a branch above my head, was better than years of disappointingly awkward images I’d come to expect as the norm when someone photographed me. We went from photo to twitter to blogs to website. As we continued to work together, I found the process infused with the ease and trust of a close working relationship. Artotems Co. delved into who I am so they could portray it: my writing, my interests, my uniqueness. They helped me understand what the market wants and how it responds; they’ve been supportive and accessible.
